I just need to clarify a few things regarding this event....

The Nissan Club has told the "Reach for a Dream" guys, at a meeting held with them, that the Nissan 4x4 Club will be entering the event. So therefore you need to be a paid up member of the Nissan 4x4 Club to enter..... BUT ....should you wish to enter and drive, you are welcome to enter as a separate group, obviously subject to space availability from Reach for a Dream.

If you do wish to join the Nissan 4x4 Club ( R200/year), please contact either Grant, Kobus, Christo or myself. You will get more than R200 value out of the club if you join. Alternatively, come through on the 9th Feb 2013 to Groenkloof for the Nissan 4x4 club day, and you can join there.

Great, that clears things up a bit - (FYI - I did join as R200 is nothing for a year's subscription - I get that worth back in boerie rolls )) was just worried we where not going to get a full compliment of 10 vehicles and maybe needed to invite some "friends" but that then will not work as they are not Nissan club members.

How is the Nissan team looking as opposed to the Patrol team for entries?

Just maybe some clarity in this matter what is the rules pertaining to belonging to other clubs as well ie I belong to Community 4x4 and Isuzu Offroad as well at this stage?

I am quite surprised at how quick we filled up the Patrol side. Naturally we are the Nissan 4x4 Club, so all Nissans are a team. I initially thought that we would battle to get patrols for this event as in previous years, the track was not really suited for our monster " turning circle of an ox wagon" machines.... .... but I was very wrong.... turns out we are battling to get Hardbottom.... oops... hardbody's and Navaras !!

So, so far we will definitely have 1 team, but it would be great if we can get 2 teams.

You can belong to as many clubs as you want. If a club member has a Nissan and wants to drive for the Lightenburg 4x4 Club for example, then they are welcome to do that..... but the Nissan Club is definitely going to win the "best Gees prize .....again"...

Given that I am a paid up memebr, and on the above list, is the entering done by the committee?

No you must please submit the forms and pay directly to RFAD. Once paid please send me a mail that you have paid and entered.
