Herewith a copy of my communication with SANDWANI:

For Attention: Heinrich

Dear Sir

Our recent telephone conversations have reference.

I am Jacobus Jordaan from the Patrol4x4 forum. As you are aware, I and a couple of my close friends are frequent visitors to your facility.

The Patrol4x4 forum web address is www.patrol4x4.co.za. Our intentions may be verified by visiting the forum, and particularly the section relating to Trip Reports under my name: Jorrie and /or Sandwani.

As recently discussed the patrol4x4 forum intends to visit Sandwani on 21 Jan 2012. The Nissan 4x4 Club will also join us in limited numbers. There are also indications that a 4x4 magazine correspondent or at least somebody that will write an article for a 4x4 magazine may be present.

Although it is not possible to guarantee the numbers, it would seem that the attendance would be as follows:

1. Jacobus Jordaan (Jorrie - 2 x Volwassenes - 2 x kinders + Beast II (1 x Patrol) + 1 x pit bike)
2. W C Mc Menamin (Kagiso II - 1 x Volwassene + Boezman ( 1 x Hardbody))e section relating to vist report
3. Driko Henningse (Grootseun - 4 x Volwassenes + 1x Patrol)
4. Louis Naude (Aries66 - 2 x Volwassenes - 2 x Kinders + 1 x Patrol)
5. Kobus Pienaar (Herrie - 1 Volwassene + Ungili (1 x Patrol)
6. Christo van Rensburg (Christo Slang - 1 x Volwassene + Chuck Norris (1 x Patrol))
7. Glen Hare - Nie-forum lid + 1 x LR Disco 3
8. Grant Francis (Grant +1 ( 1 x GQ))
9. Nico Pienaar (1xPatrol)
10. Cedric Warner -ricster (+1x volwassene +1x kind) 1xPatrol (Iron Maiden)
11. Brent Anderson - Nie forum lid + 1 x Pajero
12. Rod Crompton - Patrol SGL
13. Chris Skinner (Possible - Returning from abroad am 21 Jan 12) 1 x Patrol 4.8 GRX
14. Alex Roux (Possible) Patrol 3TDI

All in all we are looking at roughly 14 vehicles plus 20 adults and 5 kids.

Some of these parties will be traveling a long distance to get to Sandwani..

Our programme for 21 Jan 2012 is loosely defined as follows:

1. 09h00 - 09h15 Registeer by Sandwani.

7. 14h30-16h00 Ry hindernisse in eie tyd.
8. 16h15 Afsluiting by die lapa.
9. 16h30 Vertrek.

Die program is informeel en buigbaar sodat elkeen kan kom en gaan soos hul graag wil.

Since we are hoping to provide a fairly large group to visit your facility, I request that you consider a special costing structure for the individuals listed. Should any additional persons join our group I will advise accordingly. It may be prudent to charge per vehicle as opposed to vehicles pus persons

We do intend to drive through your facility and intend to test some of the more highly rated obstacles for training purposes.

Kindly confirm that Sandwani can accommodate us and please forward the appropriate tariffs to me and KobusPienaar@flysaa.com for further transmission to our members.

Please excuse the use of different languages, but we are multi-lingual forum.

Yours sincerely and looking forward to visit your facility.

Herewith, for your information, a copy of Sandwani's response to my communication with them:
Good Morning Mr Jordaan,

Firstly thank you for your enquiry.

I have had a look at your mail and look forward to your arrival.

The best I can do with regards to the costs for the day is R100.00 p/vehicle and a reduced R25.00 p/person.

I notice that a pit bike will also be attending the day, please note the cost for the bike is R50.00. Please also be aware that the pit bike may strictly only ride in the quarry as the noise affects the animals on the farm should the bike ride in the bush.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

I've attached a copy of our Indemnity form which can be printed and completed before arrival to ensure a speedy arrival procedure. Our rules and regulations are also attached.

I thank you again for your enquiry and look forward to your arrival.

Kind Regards
Heinrich Hattingh

Hi All

Sandwani sent me copies of their Endemnity Form and Rules.

I tried to attach it to a post, but the system did not allow it.

Those who are interested, please PM me your e-mail addresses so that I can forward it to you.

It would save time upon arrival if the Endemnity Forms are completed prior to arrival.

Regards :salute:

Klink nou baie makliker . Sien jul daar. Nico [ BEAST ]
