I eventually got mine done last week.
Still have the flashing airbag light since a ‘bump’ with a taxi many years ago though.
Gheez I have almost given up on this recall story. Who else has a pre-facelift GU (mine is 2004) who had airbags recalled and got it done? My VIN says no on the website, but others had theirs done.
Mines also a 2004. If I recall, our two are even the same color.
I was being hounded by Nissan. A call every week, so I eventually caved. They did it while I waited, was pretty painless.

I dealt with brits Nissan, they’re the closest to me.
