Ja ek sal vlg week kyk of ek die corner scales by die werk kan huis toe bring..

Nog so paar stappe vorentoe vandag
Ratkas met al sy rat hefbome en binne covers opgesit
Ook die koppelaar petrol en rem pedale godoen
Gaan lekker slaap vanaand en alles is dood standard ombouing van aotumaties na handrat

J D Shields, 'n oudlid van hierdie forum het 'n 4.8 in sy handgrenade laat sit.
Maar met 'n autobox.
Hy het destyds gese dit was die beste 4x4 wat hy ooit gehad het.
Maar dit is seker maar 'n persoonlike keuse wat jy van hou.
Die kar het weens onverwante redes later uitgebrand.

Vanaand gaan ek die enjin sommer op die grond crank om seker te maak al die kompressies mooi is ..en dan is dit ek die agterste ewenaar...
die se vacuum booster wat die "difflock" beheer was ook stukkend...ek kan vir julle fotos neem en post as daar van julle is wat sal belang stel

I wonder if this handgrenade was mated with a 4.8 and an earlier 4 speed or post 2004 5 speed auto box

Fixed

Just an update on "Cheapy"
Labour wise its no cheapy.....but for the enjoyment afterwards....
So all the diffs is fitted and aircon pipes and brackets etc is sorted
Engine is hanging on hoist and ready to install

And I managed to get this long range tank in a scrape yard yesterday....

Hoe groot is daai tenk?
