I did some research on this Radio topic last week. and from what I read the bosvark is a bit superior to the zartek. the Top end zarteks are good and like the bosvark they can be opened up to the licenced VHf, 27mhz and 29mhz as well. so you have the best of both worlds with the bosvark and top of the line Zarteks. The bosvark has an adition LED tourch and fm radio.

Guys only talking about UHF radios, are the VHF's in the minority?

I do have a VHF installed in my Patrol, at least we are 3 for now.
