:woo: Hi guys we it seem are hitting 50 cars, although the names do not yet appear on this site. 3Provences can only take 50 and they are now asking if those on this site who have not put their jacket sizes are serious in attending as there seems no final committment. We might run over 50 and if people are not going, please take your name of the list or lets have the sizes and you need to finalise your bookings with 3 provences. We are now at the critical stage of finalising the number of vehicles and people. So by Monday we need finality to some extent.

 Hi guys, the arrangements are going well and at this stage it seems that we have the support of Nissan in that we will get funds to help pay the petrol and accomodation, not all, but substantial amount per vehicle. They have other surprises for us which has not been disclosed. The weekend will be a big fun event and yes we are planning to keep everybody bussy so it will not be boring for the passengers. The cameras will work hard in capturingall that is happening. There was and advert in the WEGRY and I have been having calls from all over. What is amasing is that people out of the Karoo want to come. One guy has a verry rare vehicle as he explained it to me. It is a 1983 left hand drive with a 3.3 engine in and it is permaently in 4x4. He say only a few were imported into SA and he uses his daily. Yes so we might be fortunate to get some history out of this. It seems now nearer to the date we are getting more interest and therefore the call that everybody finalises there bookings as those who dont might be dropped of as Nissan is only sponsering 50 at 3 Provences as this is all they can handle. They will split the team in two and handle it that way. Keep well

What is happening with the Cape Town event?
Any interest from Nissan in that?
I will be at 3 Provinces but a friend is attending Cape Town and was asking.

I would also like to know. Seems that Cape Town has been disowned by organisers? Looking at the hype of things surrounding the 3 Provinces venue incl sponsorship and coverage, it saddens me that ,
1) It isn't there for the Cape Town guys ,and
2) Because of that i almost wish i could rather be at the 3 provinces event.
However, the 3 Provinces venue that was chosen was never going to lend itself to Western Cape Patrol Owners, it couldn't be any further away, which is, well, kak.
But fear not, us CT boys will rally the forces ourselves then and unite on the Tallest Dune (or maybe the second tallest for some of the TD42 owners), Nissan marketing, sponsorship, jackets, media or not.
