Been a while since last update. Havent done too much other than maintenance. During this lockdown period I decided it waas time to finish up the storage system.
Drew it up and rendered to get an idea of the final product.
My woodwork skills are not great but hopefully I can pull it off. Still need to get items like acoustic fabric and teflon slides to finish.
I have attached a wiring diagram of how I plan to connect everything up, if any of you Fundis can recommend any changes or any additional items that would help improve it that would be a appreciated

Nice!!!
What program did you use to draw that up, and what program did you render it on?

Thanks Cedric, I use Revit to model and then rendered in Lumion. Got a bit carried away but as you know these things are fun to draw

Thanks John, the drawing is the easy part, the craftsman skill is another story

lets hope I can pull it off

Drawings look great, woodwork looks good.
Wiring: I am not really clever, but it looks basically correct to me except for one thing: I don't agree with some of the fuse placements, as follows:
1) The fuse for the fridge should in my opinion be on the other side of the BH plug.
2) Should the solar panel input not be fused as well, or does the charger have a built-in fuse for that (don't know, just asking)?
3) Does one actually get a fuse big enough for a winch?
Lastly a comment.
I am having to think about my charging setup as well at the moment, having recently picked up a Ctech charger through a forum member. The issue I have (and I don't know if this also applies to your WRND) is that it doesn't have a remote monitor. There are some lights on the charger, but if the charger is mounted way in the back of the car, I have no idea whether it is working. I have the same issue with the system in my trailer. It has a beautiful monitor built in, but since the charger is in the trailer, I have no idea whether the trailer is receiving any power while I am driving.
I am considering putting an ammeter in the heavy cable going to the back of the car. It might not tell me the state of charge, but it should at least tell me whether power is flowing. So I should be able to see if something has gone wrong, such as a plug not connecting or if the fuse is blown or similar?

Thank you for you comments Peter.
Wiring:
1) Yup that makes sense, missed that one, will correct.
2) I must also confirm, I think the WRND has a fuse for this.
3) I am clueless with this and just assumed. I will have to research a little further before final installation.
I actually have a National Luna monitor and forgot to include it in the diagram. I would like to mount this in front as you say to see whats going on while driving

Awesome! Skoonsus uses Revit and she says she won’t go back to other CADs

Here is another Lumion beaut of the same house. Its an incredible program
Cool renders Cedric

I used to feel the same about Revit and modeled with sketchup but now that I have experience theres no going back! Its a very powerful software, just not user friendly. Lumion is great and super easy but just doesn't reach the full photo realistic levels yet. I believe the developers will get there though, I hope so.
Can I please ask if we keep my thread clean of non related pics. You are welcome to message me on whatsapp and we can share pics and talk Archy
