What i do want to say is a second hand gearbox go for about 8k and normally it might just be a seal from a unbalanced propshaft....but
Front bumper is 10k min...
A set of tires 23k
And aftermarket shocks around 30k
Make sure and let us look with you before you make up your mind .....
Happy hunting :salute:

Welcome, welcome

The right Patrol is out there, just don't be in a hurry. as for a 4.2 Diesel, a bit more on the scarce side, but there are a few of them, took me 2-3 years to get my grubby little paws on one

Thanks Dirk

it seems that no matter which fuel derivative is owned, patrol owners seem to be happy about their vehicles.

I do enjoy the diesel's truck-like sound. I especially liked one that was on the iconic 4x4 event at At Se Gat. If I remember it was black with black steelies. Sounded wicked!

Anthony, if you haven't bought one yet by middle next month, come and join us for the Patrol vs Cruiser weekend at Moegatle (20-22 May 2016), I am 100% sure there will be more than one available seat for you to come and judge for yourself....

Sounds like a plan.

I've got a mate with a cruiser who may like to join.

I don't think there was a black one at At se Gat.

I think you might be thinking of Michael's dark green monster diesel one. He has black steelies, IIRC. :)
