Jip baie goeie waarde vir geld ....verloor net daai uitlaat pup eerste . Josh se een jaag my 4.8 mooi op die high way maar praat maar met hom oor die klein mods wat masiewe verskil in krag maak ....

You won't be sorry bud, they are great vehicles. Just check with them about the warranty if you change the exhaust and also if you fit a Madman monitoring system ( or similar ). I big car like a Patrol, that can go anywhere with fuel consumption favoring your wallet more than the sheikhs.... its a no brainer ..... Buy it !!

If I was in the market for a new vehicle in that class the Patrol GL 3.0 would be it. The common rail version is really awesome and as you have seen it does not share the same problems as the DI engine. It is probably the last ideal overlanding vehicle ever made with SFA and coil suspension giving great fuel economy.
As mentioned above, I would do the following to make it really enjoyable
1. Fit a proper exhaust
2. Do software at SAC Boksburg
3. Fit a snorkel
4. Fit a Madman just for safety
The standard 3.0 is a bit low on power and the above mods really makes a huge difference in power and driveability.
I reckon if you keep the standard tyres with above mods you should get 9km/l if you drive nicely.

Myne het nou 60000km op. Geen probleme. My deure rattle oki. Dalk is dit omdat ek n deur slot kan stel, ek weti
