While I do not discount the value of training, and believe in gaining knowledge wherever possible, I understand that the process has been put on hold, possibly indefinately.
I must say, this is the reason I was hesitant from the beginning, as we went through a similar process with the implimentation of the Firearm Control Act, and a number of people who thought they would do themselves a favour and get the process over with had to do it all again later as the requirements had changed.
For this reason, I will wait untill it actually becomes law, and I am sure that the curriculum and requirements are set in stone. Or at least fairly good gumbo mud...
