Nope. Changing from the standard 265's to 285's made my odo out by 5% compared to GPS but the speedo is now more accurate.

Speedo and odo are driven by the same system, but their calibration is not necessarily the same.
Therefore, when tire size is changed they will change by the same percentage, but their error will not be the same percentage.
Odo is usually more accurate than the speedo.

I have had my 2009 patrol now for 2 weeks.
On my first tank with mixed town and highway travel my consumption has been 19.2 l/100km. My aircon has also been on most of the time Im not sure how much difference that makes.I have 285/75/16 MT tyres and a TJM 100mm lift.
