No radios yet so I'll have to use hand signals for now.

You will have to enable roaming as you will exit the SA borders and enter another country.
Other alternative is that you can buy a simcard in Swaziland and use their networks to phone.......same like in other countries

Ok...... so I phoned Home Affairs on 0800 60 11 90, as I have been doing every odd day to find out the progress of the unabridged birth certificate for my son. Well, its still being processed. However all is not lost.... Dirk, it seems you will still be able to go on the trip !!!!!.... I asked him about the letter that was mentioned here, and he responded that if we don't receive the unabridged birth certificate, to go to Home Affairs and ask them for an Authorization Letter. You must take along your proof of application ( basically your receipt that you paid the R75 ) and both parents ID books and the childs ID book.
Now to rough it in the friggin queue ...... again !!

SJC wrote:The braaipacks: is the steak rump/porterhouse or tenderise steak?
EDIT, EDIT!!!
Another clarification:
In your braaipack, every piece of meat is either 100gr of 150 gr, these two being your choices on the order list.
So a single braaipack will weigh either 300gr or 450 gr in total.

Klink goed. Ek hou nie van tend. steak nie.

I have never eaten "tenderised" steak that was actually tender.
I think the meat hammer makes it more tough than anything else. But maybe that is just me.
Maar, Fanus: Miskein moet jy vir jou braaipack spesifeer watse een jy wil he.
Dit is in die volgende post, waar jy dit kan byvoeg in ry 77 (Comments)

Hi everyone
Attached is the latest list of orders thus far.
If you wish to make a meat order, please use the latest verison available on this thread, which now wil be this one.
On 15 March I will post an almost final (AF) version which ou can check again.
On the morning of 16 March I will post the ABF version (absolute bl**dy final).
Then at close of play 16 March orders will be closed and I will send it off to the butcher.
Dirk, your order is stil in here. Don't worry, I will take it out. I am still coming to terms of you not being there! (So you can of course also still change your mind).
