I was just wondering for my article - how many vehicles were we in total? Patrols I mean... I counted about 17 on the first day but not entirely sure and some people left early too.

I know there was a Volksie, Hilux, an FJ and a couple of Land Rovers inbetween too.

And anyone know how many petrols & diesels?

Hi Evan,
Besides the Volksie, there was just one Diesel and that was Michael's Green Machine.
Three landrovers in total. The Blue Defender with BM engine, the Disco 3 with the Range Rover Turbo diesel enging, and the bakkie, that snapped something on day 3 (also with a foreign engine)
One FJ, and one Hilux. Although the Hillux was more of a guiding vehicle (driven by Thys), and did not run the obstacles.
I cannot say exactly how many Patrols there were, but 17 is a safe guess.
