Manie towed me from RdW. Thanks Manie!!
The engine started working again from the first toll gate.
But still no gears.
So he towed me all the way to Graham's shop.

I don't know yet.
The engine stuttered and stalled after one of the mudcrossings.
But after AlexB pulled back to camp and drying out the engine, we could not jump start it.
When I release the clutch there is just nothing. It effectively just stays in neutral.
