Hi. I'm going to try to be there, hopefully. It's Alex and his kort stokkie that I'm missing. If we are back from Cape Town in time I'm there.

Good!

Now I have nothing to worry about, in case the kort stokkie gives me hassles!

I mentioned a while ago that there are very many stop/goes on the R511 North of Brits. It's hell travelling as they are long waits and there are several of them. I mentioned that there are other options for avoiding them.

Several people have enquired about the other routes, so I thought I would just post it here to save time responding to everybody individually.

Two notes:

1: This is Brits. Watch out for potholes.
2: There has been a lot of rain in the area... So, I'm not sure of the condition of the two alternative options to get to Moegatle that I'm going to list below. However, bear in mind that they could be interesting... :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Option 1 - Lethlabile Road

1: Travel west towards Brits on the R566 Rosslyn Road.
2: Just before Brits turn right on to the Lethlabile road.
3: Travel 18km until Lehtlabile is on the right. There is a gravel road on the left. It should be marked Dube or Dikhololo. Turn left on to the gravel road.
4: Travel 14km on this road. Past Dikhololo. Moegatle entrance gate will be on the right hand side.

Option 2 - Wagpos Road

1: Enter Brits via R511 and continue into town. At the Speedy Tyre place (right hand side), turn right onto Van Deventer street.
2: Travel 12 km on Van Deventer street, exiting Brits. You will pass Wagpos school, the aerodrome and Drie Berge caravan park. You will get a turn off to the right. It starts off as Tar, and becomes gravel. Turn right.
3: To confirm you are on the right road, shortly after turning off, you will pass the "Dal Unie" church on the right hand side. Thereafter, the road becomes gravel, and you cross a railway crossing. Carry on straight.
4: About 10km from the Dal Unie kerk, you will reach a large gravel crossroad. It may be marked Dikhololo. Turn left.
5: Travel 7 km on this road. You will pass Dikhololo and reach Moegatle's entrance gate on the right hand side.

Hope it helps. See y'all on Saturday.
