Gelukkig hier gebreek , nie in verafgelee deel nie, ek is volgende week in Roma/Ramabanta, kon VEEL erger gewees het.

What a nice car......en daai vreeslike petrol verbruik is toe nou nie so vreeslik nie. Tenk wys nou half, so 280km dorp km gery. Standaard tenk, ek dink 95 l??

Guys OK, last little issue, then this Lekker Ding is basically sorted:

My Difflock light goes on intermittently. Meaning it does'nt flicker "evenly", it sometimes just goes on for a split second.

???

Clean up something somewhere I guess??

Does it happen after water crossings? My difflock wires at the diff actuator are sensitive to water ingress. It may be worth looking at the connections.

jp no, got it like that 3 weeks ago. Difflock works 100%, just that little light that flashes intermittently......like in a spit second, then it goes away.

Check the connection on the plug under the car at the rear diff.

A sad sad sad day indeed.

We're going to Roof of Africa tomorrow, and we all decided to take an extra Double Cab to tow the 3 bike trailer, just easier to load fuel etc etc etc along the way.

Intersesting developments since I last posted in here.

A Member/Client chatted me into selling him my Trol, with the understanding that I can buy it back at any time.

Well.....I'm buying it back. Buyer likes it, he also spent some money on it (voel kakkas daaroor..........), but its just not really REALLY what he had in mind.

This happens, a car must grow on you. And we had this "buy back" understanding. Believe me this is one car that I'd buy back with a moerse grin on my face.

Trol is in the Western Cape, I'm making plans to have it back to Bethlehem ASAP, hopefully even this weekend.

Actually thinking of driving it back myself........so lekker solo road trip.
