interesting unfinished project.... with very ambitious price expectations.
Perhaps if he sells the motor individually + sell the 1/2 car as parts...
You can get an early 4.8 (complete car) for that money

A half built project car, cannot expect a good price for that.
Once a project is complete, you will not get anything close to the sum of the parts as a selling price. Therefore even less so if it is halfway done.

there is an old saying ...if you buy a R50 000 motor car and spend another R50 000. on it ..you still have a R50 000 motor car....

I agree, it is unfortunate that so much money was spent on that engine......which is gone forever.
I think in only a few cases can you do engine mods and increase the value of the vehicle
