Update - it's unfortunately not the CRD engine, but the 300 DDi(??) one.

VERY nice car though, and a meticulous owner.

But ja, wo'nt be interested in this one any more (my opinion).

Petri, the DDI doesnt say much as both old and new 3.0 are Direct Diesel Intercooled (think thats what it stands for).

A pic of the engine or VIN number will be the only way to tell

Well.........I sold my 2001 Cruiser GX, and I must look at replacing Mamma's Kombi some time soon. Wont be another Kombi - they're expensive, and my plaaspad speel nie met 'n VeeDub nie.

I'm very very VERY keen on a new Patrol GL Diesel. Pricing is right, consumption i right, space is right, warranty is right, everything is right.

I just cant justify paying the same price for a new Hilux/whatever else DC 4X4 with canopy. I just cant.

Daai Patrol kan 2 jobs doen......die Kwaai Antie se taxi EN my weekend / 4x4 / bootsleep / camping kar.

Hoe meer ek search vir issues op die nuwe GL Diesel, hoe minder kry ek......het die goete dan GEEN pyne nie, net die agterdeure wat rattle.....???

I can get a new one at +_ R 590000....exactly the price of a new Hilux 2,8 DC 4x4 with canopy. And the Hilux won't work for us, we need a big car. Only choices we have are another Kombi (no) , GX 200 (te duur), and a Patrol GL. New 76 V8 is way too small.
