I want to use it as a camping vehicle and also playing in the Atlantis dunes now and again, my wanting the 4.2 was becasue they were so tough and reliable and that it could out drag a tractor on any day ha ha I know it is a donkey and its not fast but If I can cruise on the highway at 120-140 I will be happy, too much to ask of the diesel? I like the simplicity of the vehicle and the '' maak reg with a tang en blou draad '' attitude when stuck in the bush. I would definitely like somebody there with me that knows these machines to help have a look for obviouse faults etc while I am up there then great Ill look at others if available. Saw a green one 4.2 TD recently on gumtree for sale scratch on the right hand side of the bumper. My cell is zero 8 two 4 seven 0ne 5 nine 4 five only available from Friday afternoon as I am currently out of the country.
