Pieter , my fan runs constantly , some guys fit a thermo. switch thats set to 5o deg c. It comes on only on ignition not as an accecory.
Remember those fans are about R100.00
Gerrit nice to hear that the Pajero,s intercooler is in front now.I wonder if anybody has moved their intercooler to the front on Patrols
Some guys in Oz do change there intercoolers to the water type. I cannot cooment on Subaru's
I also read JG Shields aeticle that he had to replace his Air Flow Meter. I would like to know what is the symptoms of a faulty AFM , just power loss or more power.
Did you guys see the new Disco 4, 3lt diesel that was released yesterday , 600nm of torque.Thats a lot of grunt.

Where did you buy the fan - and must it be a spesific size or number of blades?? If you have a part number for the fan could you perhaps give it to me please.
Do you then just wire the fan directly to the ignition - so when the car is turned on the fan starts running??
How do you fix the fan on top of the intercooler - perhaps you could post a close up photo or 2 of your setup / installation please??
