Lobo se goed moet juis nou waar aanmekaar gesit word --

mmmm. smaak my ek gaan bietjie meer kopkrap moet doen.

Hey guys. sorry, everything standing still for a bit while I run around like a headless chicken to get things sorted. I may only have three weeks left in the country before I ship out on a three month contract. Need to get everything organised for the wife while I am away.

Sani needs some attention for day to day driving, steering bushes to be replaced, fuel pump and surge tank to be fixed permanently. Was even hoping to fix the rockslider as the wife struggles to get into the driver seat without the step.

Solar setup needs to be made maintenance free while I am away so that she does not have to watch it/check it every day.

Suddenly I have a schedule full and possibly only three weeks to finish.

BUMPER IS ON THE BACKBURNER FOR NOW

So Murphy is a Bli&^m  Sani dumps it's third thrust bearing on this clutch and second one for the year.

Had it up to my ears with the mechanic that has done the previous jobs and start the job myself. Find broken off bolts. Gearbox has been hanging on three bolts with one broken off, then when I wanted to take to the remaining bolts with a spanner, they are all already loose  ...

Chat to a few people and get a guy in town that tells me a story, but covers all my symptoms that the Sani has been suffering from for the past few years on the clutch. As I am desperately looking for someone to look after the Sani while I am away for three months while my wife needs a reliable vehicle, I am straight up with this mechanic and tell him he must show me his workshop, tell him my story and that I am willing to give him a chance to prove himself and look after the Sani while I am away.

SO this morning I have to put what I have taken apart back on and take the Sani to the new mechanic. New Clutch kit ordered and some boots and other bits and bobs that the previous idiot stuffed up.

Amazed at the prices of the things. Sachs kit R2300 local, got it in Joburg for R1800. Valeo factory closed for two weeks already and no stock anywhere, but that kit now costs R2900.

So lets see how this turns out, hopefully get the car back mid next week.
