Chris, Tinus's 4.8 is busy taking him to the Kalahari. I think he will be away for about a week.

Based upon my experiences with my previous vehicle, I suspect (but am not 100% sure) that MT's increase fuel consumption. Certainly I found that my consumption went up but it could aso have been other factors/changes that I made.

Tinus,
I sure hope you meant Km/L otherwise we will arrange for an petrol tanker to go get you.
I also assume you meant 140Km/h average speed. Was this GPS speed?
That is outstanding figures.
What more would you want from a monster of a car.
Don't even service it. Maybe something gets bumped or touched that could effect the consumption negatively.
Enjoy the trip and remember some action pictures of NAM.

The 140km/hr average : is this on highway only or is this an average through out a trip ?

Knowing Tinus, that's not really an average, but the speed he sets the cruise control to. IE he will go faster to overtake, and slower when necessary.

That is GPS speed.

n Amarok is n puik ryding. Amarok moet nog sy sterkheid wys. Patrols se breakdown stats is maar min.
Amarok kannie loop weaar n Patrol loop nie.
Ek brandbash nie, net my opinie
Groete
