Have a good trip, pity month end

Been there twice over the last 6 months, recently enroute to MMC we stopped over there, in the rainy season the crossings can be VERY deep. We had over the bonnet, by the section just before the grass plains. It is a very beautiful trail. Don't forget to tackle the "extreme section by the dam", it's "behind" you. Last time I was there two vehicles suffered big damage, broken front prop (Isuzu) had to tow through axle twisters as he was stuck in 4x2 and a Tuna with suspension damage (4x2 being jackass). Keep in mind NO cell signal.

Once again a stunningly scenic trail.

Hi,

I agree the Serendipity trial is very nice and the camping site is great, just some advise on the river crossing so the same don't happen to other's, when I did the trial I got some water into the gearbox, somehow the exhaust burned a hole into the gearbox breather pipe and the water got in that way. So please check all the breather pipes before going into the water, diffs and gearboxes.

This was a fantastic weekend getaway.... a little chilly, but Grant and a fire... will make you warm !!

It was a great drive, and a great kuier that night too !!

Ricster, still sorry I could not go.

I was there in 2011. It was raining and most of the grade 4+ was closed due to being slippery when wet .
But I recall it was more than enough of a challenge
