Cedric, I am amazed that your trollie runs so silently with that straight pipe. Your 4.2 and my 2.7 has the same exhaust, but yours is 75% larger capacity, yet yours is very quiet. Mine is actually as the point where I am seriously contemplating a silencer.

Dave, I still unfortunately have that little box at the end still fitted, Grant and Christo have straight through pipes, but even theirs is no more noisy than mine. When I get the time to chop that box out I'll keep it to put on yours, maybe it just needs a little box to keep hillbilly toned down a notch. But yeah its strange that the noise level is so different

Cedric, that would be great, 3" pipes are not so easy to pick up at the normal exhaust shops. They all think your wallet is also 3"s thick

ha ha... yip I heard Stefansie was quoted something like R5k for a 3" straight MILD STEEL exhaust.... flippin madness.... maybe for stainless and cause of all the bends
