Hello everybody - I am not that active here (might need to buy myself a Patrol.... .....). Here is our list as it stands now. I need confirmation of participation as well as entry forms and indemnities asap. If you need these docs, please send me an e-mail at 4x4@vodamail.co.za. When I receive your entry and indemnity docs your name moves up the list.

Although it might seem that the team of 10 drivers are filled it is true that we require additional entrants to serve as standby in an event where the current drivers can't drive on the day. Some of the more seasoned drivers have also indicated that they will gladly step back to allow the opportunity for new competitors to take their places - so please, send in your entry and indemnity forms if you not already have - send me a mail for the docs.

Then we also require people to assist the following gentlemen:

Nico Pienaar Team co-ordinator - 2 people required
Christo van Rensburg Obstacle co-ordinator - 4 people required

Last but not least we require spectators on the day, so yeah, everybody on this Forum is invited....

O yes, the vehicle branding has been addressed and the driving team will have door and bonnet magnets that looks the following:

Something else, there is a compulsory scrutineering of the vehicle, either the night before or the morning.
We need to find out what the checks are, just to make 100% certain we all have the necessary things, e.g. number of recovery points etc.

Hello Alex - correct. I am waiting for the final feedback from the organizers in terms of obstacle allocation as well as rules.

FROM PRETORIA: Drive on the N4 freeway direction Witbank. Take the Rayton, Cullinan, Bapsfontein off-ramp at the top of the Donkerhoek mountain. Drive through the tollgate. After the tollgate(+- 150m) turn right onto the R515 towards Bapsfontein. Drive on for approx. 4km. Turn left at the McCarthy 4x4 Club, Rhino Park signboard. Follow the signboards to the clubhouse.
