Cedric that is how I manage my system currently if I do not have 220 available and if I am driving a lot and it works perfectly, my longterm plan is however to get a PBE system installed, but Pieter must do it so I can remove it when the time is right to switch to a GU 4.8. I am very satisfied with my 60L Snomaster if the R5500 is correct ( dis n moerse bargain) that is what I paid for my unit in 2009 and I have a chromadeck unit but with the Danfoss compressor

All I have is a Ctek dual 12v to 12v battery charger connected from my main to auxiliary battery. I'm not sure if I actually need an isolator with this kind of set up. Seems to work well so far... but then I also have a big aux battery!!

Snowmaster have their show this weekend with lots of specials at their factory near Makro in Edenvale!

Yes we have the 60lt ( 15 Freezer compartment and 45 lt Fridge or Freezer compartment ) on special at R 5500.00 excl vat and transport , including the transit bag , Danfoss compressor , high and low speed switch
