For all those who are following my post, this will be my last post here, because it's finally :woo: finished!
I'm currently breaking in my "new" engine got 300kms on her so far, and all going well...
I'm saving up for a new stainless exhaust with branches (R5300 - quote from TNT) as the old one required welding and I've been battling with exhaust gaskets, but I've finally stopped her sounding like a tractor... Advice for anyone purchasing a Patrol from the coast (Richards Bay mine came from) - Look underneath for rust, it may not always be visible from above...

Here's a few photo's of the work and the finished product (the fan cover is missing 'cause it don't fit no more..!)
I was using a Hilux bakkie while she was standin and I'm really glad to have her up and running again...
Wife thinks it was a waste of money but I say it was worth every penny... :thumbup:
