Cedric,the two heads will work ,turbo or non turbo.hope you come right with a head.

Ok.... Radiator fixed at Silverton Radiators - Alberton .... R 450.... (damn..... it would have been sooooo much cheaper to have just not run the motor after realising there was a hole in the radiator)....oh well.... hind sight is always 20/20 vision.

I have bought a new head, and will have eveything checked and the valves lapped in etc. from the old head. Its a pity, cause my old head looks like it was gas flowed too....

Now head gasket.... Nissan wants R1566 + vat for a 1.15mm gasket .... .... and R1398 + vat for the 1.20mm gasket.... ..... Any ideas rearding this??????????
I can get a Dynaforce gasket for R500.... but don't want to mess around with this due to the high compression ratios..... but can't I get a Payen or similar GOOD quality head gasket fro a decent price???

Were did you find a head and prrice????

Tinus, I got the head from Clinton. He organised me a good deal. I was a bit upset though, cause he said its a new head, but its actually a recon head.... hmmm.... I didn't take the complete motor option as I've rebuilt the existing motor completely, and know that everything is sweet from that side, and who knows what condition the 2nd hand motor head is in....

Remember: to get ahead, you gotta feed your head.
