I did not hear it from anybody, I have a logbook that will prove it over a distance of some 15,000 kilometer. Although it is light on fuel considering its size and weight, I don't care to go to the heavier fuel consumption of a 4,8 because you get something completely diffirent from the 3.0 Diesel.

Hazy - do you mean 9.1km/l from the 4.8 or from the 3.0 diesel. I have never heard of, or read about, a 4.8 that gets 9.1km/l...

I have a 3.0 Turbo Diesel and my consumption on this vehicle is what I am referring to - not on the 4,8 petrol. I keep a log book on my Patrol and it is from that book that I quote.
