Sjoe thanx michael that'll make a huge difference to my pocket! But now are they keystone alfin type? I really want to use the right stuff don't want to have to go trough this again!!

I'm not sure about the keystone part but they are definitely Alfin.

Am I correct when saying Keystone is the design of the piston rings?

Jip you are it just means the top ting is tapered to the rear and alfin is just a strengthening of the top ring holder.

ok the guy from Alert just confirmed that Autopower are Alfin pistons with normal rings not keystone

Ai thats a pity, hmmm now that I think about it the other day I popped in at midas and had a look at a set of Td27t pistons and they were alfin and keystone part no, RP60719 Also autopower. But its not a sleeve kit. Hi cedric welcome back, jip I'm sure frans wil help but I think he's running around crazy.

Morning all,

Here is the alfin rings part number. I still have 2 sets, so if you get the identical type you are welcome to take these off my hands....doubt I'll ever need them again...

As for the shimstock..... I hunted through my garage like a madman..... Eish..... I think my kids got hold of it or something, cause she is not there by the place where she was when she was there... :lol: :lol:

I think I bought my S/S shim stock from these guys. If I recall it was afterhours on a Saturday or public holiday and they really went out of there way to assist me. We arranged to meet at an offramp on the highway afterhours. They are in Henley on Klip/Meyerton area if my memory serves me well.
