Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

David, on a competition like this, and working only from the description of the course, I would put my money on the hardbody.

The major difficulty will probably be threading the vehicle between the markers, much easier in a hardbody than a Patrol (except maybe Thabbies's shorty).

Maybe I am just worried about some of those axle twisters and up hills that I saw the Patrols walk, and us poor HB's just turned off onto the chicken route

If I can have some front recovery point fitted on Tuesday or Wednesday, can I still enroll?

So if one does not have the required recovery points then its a disqualification??

You must have recovery points. The marshals have to check that you do have at least some form of recovery point in front and rear.

Then I'm definately out, looks like my leave is cancelled so no camping as well - tragic.......

You have the pintel hook at the back ( UN spec) if I'm not mistaken so .... don't go cancel just yet
