To revive an aolsd post - Dieselfan you saw both vehicles in qeustion today - a stock standard 3.0 DI Patrol with 250 000km on the clock and a stock standard Defender Diesel - what is your verdict ?

Well the patrol I won't talk about. It's a boring car. ;) Most patrol owners don't need to know what that little lever is for.

Mr. conan only uses low range to lube the transfer case. ;)

to be fair though, this thread started with a defender having tc.

Theres a lot to be said about a patrol s COG.

Patrols are really just that much more
