David.....that's a brilliant idea, I think I must leave a day earlier as well because I also had a look on Google Earth and wouldn't mind doing some fly fishing myself.David M wrote:We are planning on leaving at 04h00 on the 15th already. Hoping the river will be low enough and go do a bit of flyfishing for a couple of days before.
Yep - Google earth tells me that if flows are right there is good Largemouth, Smallmouth and Barbel water nearby. Going to even take my Saltwater fly tackle for big Barbel if they are around.Michael wrote:David.....that's a brilliant idea, I think I must leave a day earlier as well because I also had a look on Google Earth and wouldn't mind doing some fly fishing myself.David M wrote:We are planning on leaving at 04h00 on the 15th already. Are there bass there? Bring your bass tackle anyway but very small dropshots, lures and/or leadheads for the yellowfish in the river. And if you want to break some tackle some bigger leadheads for the barbel. Looking where we are camping I am even thinking of some heavier tackle to put out a bait in the evening/early morning for barbel.Wilkie wrote:if you there and the bass is biting you must whats app me please ,,will bring my bass tackle...
