I see Brits Nissan have a second hand 'Trol for sale at the moment.
I walked past it and peered at it a bit. 4.8 Auto - 2005 model. ARB bumper, roof rack, snorkel and seat covers. New tyres (forget the make). All from what I saw. I did not have time to get mileage etc, but it looks very clean. Price about R249k (sounds a bit high).
Anyways, nice truck - but I'll stick with my 4.5 manual... :)

That looks like the gl patrol that you can order from Nissan Japan direct if you don't live in SA.
The rims should be the 16 inch 6jj to take that size tyre and for the car to not have fender flairs it needs to have such a narrow tyre.
I wonder if its loading capacity would be different to a GRX patrol because those narrow tyres would have a lower load rating.
Looks nice though.

Or maybe a 6.5jj rim same as the pickups, which originally came out with 235/85r16 tyres...
The load rating on those tyres is only 800kg per tyre.

Also interesting to see that the rear light clusters must be real working units as there are no lights in the bumper.

Really a pity that we cannot get this basic (cheaper) model in SA and a bigger pity that we cannot import vehicles...
