We took the plunge and bought the Patrol. The car is generally in a good condition, but there is a few things that will need to be addressed:
1) The BF Goodrich tyres. Looks great but well worn (about 4 mm tread left) so they are quite noisy. One tyre has a crack in the tread (0616 production date so quite “old”) so I will definitely need to replace them soon.
2) Backdoor squeak's, which seems to come with the territory. I see that there is quite a bit of advice on the forum, so hopefully I will solve that soon too.
3) Doors don’t lock on starting/pull away. Can’t see anything in the manuals on how to reprogram (if it can be done). Any advice would be appreciated.
4) Current towbar apparently only suitable for unbraked trailers. Although it seems the previous owner towed something larger as there is a Brad Harrison plug on the towbar. Would like to replace in time.

I really like the solid sound of the latch when you close the door. Reminds me of the sound of the doors of air cooled 911.

Some pictures in the “natural habitat” of a school sports ground parking lot.
