Brand new!

I would say Michael. He has worked on several as far as I know.

Ant is the guy for Madman installs, and Viper for the exhaust. The three of them often work together, so if you want to, you can arrange the whole thing through Michael.

Dude Sojo has done a lot of these crd 30l up
Some suv and some pick ups
The better plan is to get i car to him and let him arrange it for you .mostly the exhaust , madman and check over .
What you need to decide is what you want on the madman .
I would start with a min of watertemp egt and waterlevel . There is also the option of boost and oilpressure
Or just the presence of oil pressure . I prefer the manual boost gauge with n dual pillar pod.
We can look here on the forum but Josh 30l got arround 95kw and 370nm on the wheels if I remember correct .
Bruice 30l pick up very much the same ...way more driveable .....the diesel expert will make your nearly new patrol go a lot better ..let me know when you are going to drop it of would like to meet you .....

My 2014 CRD pulls like a steam train, stock standard without any mods. Clean air filter. Clean MAF sensor very impotant. I am generally not a big fan of performance mods.

Aftermarket plug and play chips are simply bull and dangerous.

(I do however have high regard for those that know how to Turbo a TD42 properly)

The only mod I want for my CRD is something like a Madman.

Is there someone that is successfully using a OBDII real time scanner that displays on your Android phone ?

I am not sure if it's the same system, but Michael has a setup that does that on his wife's Pathfinder. Maybe give him a call?

Very nice Patrol Gareth and I'm sure by the looks of it there will be no surprises underneath the vehicle or under the bonnet.
As mentioned by Tinus and Peter I can help you with what you are looking for. The CRD is the better 3.0 to have and with the Madman fitted we can do a very safe power upgrade which will give you a better fuel consumption and the extra power.
There are 2 options, Unichip which I do through SAC, or we can do a new map on the ECU which is slightly more expensive, but worth the extra money.

Thanks Michael. Went to see Ant last week to discuss the madman install. Will be in touch with you soon. On the meantime went to Dinokeng and checked all the 4x4 bits were in working order.

One year update

I can't believe it has been a full year of Patrolling already! It has been a great year of ownership - many happy miles, getting out to the bush, meeting a great bunch of patrollers....

But mostly it has given me a great chance to bond with Connor, my son. He absolutely loves the off-roading and it has given us something we can really enjoy together - Priceless!!!

We were at Dinokeng again yesterday and parked in the same spot, so I thought it was time for an update on what has happened in the last year.
