Russ Thanks for the comments will look in to it.The only other compression lock that will look the part is like triple the price of the one's i am currently using and simply doesn't make sense to fork out R2500 for locks and the normal square canopy compression locks isn't worth while buying they are cheap but doesn't last know off many oaks who are complaining about them.On the finish side i personally am going to powder coat mine matt black but the textured finish is an option for the customer i personally don't like the textured finish because i do powder coating as my profession so i work with the stuff everyday and if it is all you see and paint all day long you can't help it to go in a different direction but if you want a set hat is textured black you can order it in that format.

It’s been a while now since anything was done to the gullwings but finally we are at it again these are the first pair to go in to a grx model by the end of the coming week i will take some photos of progress during the week as they get powdercoated and assembled
