Ek het 'n hele paar Manuals dis hoekom ek die vin nommer en verkieslik die model variation nommer nodig het om te kan sien watter is die regte manual. Ek het ongelukking nie 'n manual vir die GQ nie - nog nie!

The information that Herrie posted is from the Y61 manual and I don't think it will be applicable to the Y60.

The model variation code is at the bottom of the identification plate on the Y61 and can be used to determine some of the vehicle specifications.

The second and third characters of the model variation code indicates the engine type, as shown in Herrie's picture. These characters can indicate the other engine variants too as follows:
WS=ZD30DDTi
GP=TB48DE

Hi Everyone

Could I request that everyone who owns / drives a Patrol, yes that includes YOU, please pm me your VIN number (without the end serial number bit) as well as a short description of what you drive - to highlight the VIN details. :helpsign:
I would like to confirm that the spreadsheet matrix I developed to explain the VIN number is comprehensive and accurate before I post it on the forum.

Thanks

Mine is nothing like the one's posted
ADNC2600000 & a 6 digit serial number
BUT, Nissan keep telling me the VIN # is wrong (incidentally the plate says made in SA- yeah right!)
It's a 1995 4.2 SGL, with Dual A/C (front & rear), climate control, jerry can holder

Incidentally, not all the std factory belts fit, the temp sender is different from factory- otherwise everything else seems to be the same...so far
