I had the noise mats done for Skilpad at Craighall Car radio.

One GQ Patrol cost me R2,300 (at Craighall Car Radio)
I think it should make a difference on heat insulation as well, but cannot confirm yet.
Note: Make sure the lid that gives you access to the main tank and sender unit is covered separately.

The bakkie was a different vehicle after doing the whole cab (not doors) but I can not comment on heat as there is'nt any.
Just did the back of the GU for noise and it worked a charm.
