B- There is one on TROVIT for 35 K .. BUT it is the RB 28 diesel engine [which I like better than the Ld 28] coz yu can turbo te RB28d

I have a L28 (that's the petrol eh?) Safari/Patrol that I wanted to sell a while ago. Engine very good, 300,000km never been opened. Been in our family since 1985. An SUV that has been turned into a game viewer. See if my old thread is still active - "1985 2.8l Petrol Game Viewer for sale". It's also the car on my profile, to give you an idea of what it looks like.
Maybe my price was a bit steep (R70,000 neg.)

In the mean time I have bought myself a 4.2D Y61. Might have to spend some money on it due to engine overheating. So, lets talk about the L28 if you are interested... I would let her go for about R60,000.
She's got a lot of new stuff on her - Prop shaft, transfer case, brakes etc.
