tyre brands. Dont know. It is quite a personal thing choosing tyres... Everyone will tell you that the brand they are using are the best.
I got cooper st maxx on my 4.5 patrol and dunlop mt2's on my patrol pickup. The dunlops are half the price and does the same job as the coopers for me. And they survived a river trip without any cuts or punctures. It is to soon to see what mileage the dunlops will give. So far i am happy.
The guys get very good mileage out of the BFG's

If I may. I lost quit a bit of power when I went to 33". According to dyno results +- 15kw. Consumption went from an easy 9km/l to an avarage of 7.5km/l.
But it looks Legit. And I wont do it differently.

I'm a forester in the piet retief area. My farms range from mud to mountainous areas. Been running a range of muds on all my bakkies. The BF'S has done the best so far a good second is the coopers stt max. Big horns were ok. General grabbers only gave me 45k. Trying pirrelis on the one bakkie now.
My heart says BF'S but would be good to know if someone has a similar or better product tried and tested.
And the well the main concern was performance on bigger tyres. But got the answer on that one

These are the best tires I have ever seen:

The ones with the Kevlar sidewalls (I can't remember the exact model name). This guy idles up where the rest of us just stand and spin. Bogeyman can tell you exactly, but he got pretty good mileage from them too, but they are flippen expensive...

Andre, ek het nou baie dinge gedoen om my meer parrafien te gee opi wiele. Maar as jy net jou exhaust vervang met n 3duim freeflow vanaf die turbo en daai 2 CAT's uit gooi gee dit jou 66nm meer torque. Dit maak n m&%se verskil. Jou bakie is seker nog onder waarborg ne? As hy is. Gaan praat mooi met jou dealer. Dis in alle geval baie beter vir die motor.
