One reason: packing space. That V8 blender took up quite a lot of room!

But I was actually wondering whether one can't jury-rig a 12v blender using a model aircraft motor...

What?!?!?! :thumbdown: in that case, tie him to a chair and show him this

I love the Jet-engine powered cooler! :rolling: I think I should incorporate that technology into the ZD30's turbo.

The other option that your friend has, Cedric, is to tap some power from the engine on a seperate gearbox, just like a tractor has. Otherwise I think Piet's idea of the RC aircraft engine should be his 3rd option before going for this inverter mumbo-jumbo.

Yeah.... I'm not a fishing type of guy so I don't understand his mielie.... and he drives a disco 3, so should I really help him, because we normally only help them when they break down or are stuck..... or both ... :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

But only sometimes, otherwise we would have to help them pretty much daily...
