I would love to own this Patrol, Its not easy to own a 4.2D in GRX spec, but will work out to much (for me) to get it to where my Patrol is currently. Plus all the love and time I put into my Patrol changes everything. I could never part with my Patrol........
BUT for someone looking to build a 4.2 TD this would be a great vehicle!

Sometimes it's a good thing to be "armgat" otherwise there would be countless Patrols parked in my yard

I do not see the 3.0 scoop on the bonnet, so this must be an import or a 4.5 GRX that got a 4.2 diesel. Looks like a nice car. So much potential.

Ek het die verkoper gevra om vir my die vin nommer te stuur. Mens sal seker vanaf die vin kan sien wat dit oorspronklik was?

I had a look at this car.
It is in good condition and drives well from what I could pick up with my little knowledge.
I was however put off a bit when they showed me the invoice of a lot of work done on the car in 2013 when the car had done more mileage than what is currently showing on the clock.
They drove back in time I guess....

It is a black top judging by the photos, but one would need to check the back of the alternator for vacuum pump. IF no vacuum pump then definitively black top, if there is a vacuum pump then it is very likely a silver top.
The exhaust manifold setup looks a little odd to me..... It doesn't look like a std TD42 setup..

Would definitely get Graham to have a look at this one before I would think of buying it.......
