I need to spare a few buffalos for the replacement bumper and canvas canopy/cattle rails...
Thats one of the reasons i was considering km2's in 255/85r16, i can get them for R3120 balanced & fitted, vat inclusive. The lowest price i got on the 285/75r16 km2's was R3489 balanced, fitted, vat inclusive.

Anybody got an "old" 33x12,5x15 tire they want to "dump". I have just gone to 33's on the Sani, and was only able to get 4 rims and tires in the set. I now have found a rim that just fits, but is only a 7J. As a spare wheel, the guys say I can get away with the 33x12.5 on the 7J for short urban distances in an emergency.

My wishlist actually has a set of six KL71's on it, but I seem to be about 18K, and two rims, short on my budget :surprised: :helpsign: .

I did think of just slapping a 31' on as a spare, but with the H260 LSD that seems to be very tight, I think I am going to be running into some problems.

I know what you're saying, the tires are essential, they keep the car on the road every day, the replacement bumper, imho, not so much.

David, I have a 33" x 12.5" x 15" BFG A/T here for you.

It has 90% tread left, but is about 8 years old (most of that time spent lying in the garage though) and has a patch in the sidewall. You are welcome to it, free and gratis, as long as you bring me back the rim it's mounted on.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Thanks Peter, I don't get to Joburg much these days, but if I get out there, I will arrange that I get to a fitment centre in the same trip and get that rim back to you.

As I say, it is only for the sake of having a spare of some sorts, which is more than I have right now. I'm driving around with this nagging in the back of my mind that the rubber on the road is all there is.

I need to get to Joburg, I have an intercooler waiting for me in Roodepoort I just need to go pick up.
