I just bought a new one for my 4.2D Y61 for R4900 from Nissan

I also bought a complete new fan shroud for R1100

(Still going strong after 711 200 km)

We use the 4.2 cores to build 4.5 ones the pipes a all different

Towed by a petrol for 500000km

Sir, you forgot to add that it is a non-aspirated diesel.
The 4.2 D N/A as someone once said remains the all time great overlander.
No fuss with high sulpher, no high pressure injectors, no over fueling and no overheating of pistons.

Now if you are content with 91kw (IF you are), then thats the way to go.

That's true..... that is the bullet proof of ALL engines ever made !!

I got a quote a few years back for a new diesel pump for my Hardbody 3.0 tdi Ellisras Nissan 42 k ! Towed it to Nysltroom Nissan , got call 3 hours later to fetch vehicle , fixed (hairline crack in fuel pipe )and serviced R 2 700 . Did you get that radiator from lephalalle Nissan ??
