Peter, I must admit I have compared the weight of the new pistons to the original factory ones only to the ones that came out now they were autopower. I see your point with the heavier pistons it really does make sense what I did notice that I think is important is the oil gallery in the crown which neither the factory ones or the autopower ones had. With the protrusion I bought a 1.25 nissan head gasket so hopefully its not too thick, but as you say the differences are so small it should be fine.
