Welkom mater nog n centrion patrol.....ek ry ook baie met my goue 4.8 daar rond ....sterkte met die motor....ek dink jy moet maar mooi kyk hoekom hy moeilikheid gemaak het....daai koolstoof masjien se viscus of radiator of iets moes gegaan het
Hier is baie slim ouens soos frans ens wat jou raad kan gee ....kyk ook maar na cedric se draad hy is amper noual net so slim van baie sukkel...lol skreeu maar as daar iets is waarmee ek kan help....

Dankie Tinus, ek vermoet dit was die radiator want hy lyk of hy omlangs oorgedoen is. Die engine het baie warm gekry en die cylinder head is lelik gekraak. Tot my verbasing is die sleeves nog baie mooi gewees met niks score od seeze merke nie. Dankie vir jou offer, ek gaan defnitief raad vra soos ek vorder.

Andre, dankie vir jou raad. Ek gaan defnitief so veel moontlik van die werk myself doen. Gelikkig het die Vader my geseen met sodat ek self aan my karre kan werk.

Somewhere on Andre's thread, I think I posted a link to my rebuild. Hopefully that will help a bit too. Have you got a manual for the Patrol?

SAC Centurion I recon are the best bet, however I cannot speak for any other places, as I had issues with some of the other places I went to that serviced my diesel pump and injectors.

For sure. I can either cut it to CD for you, or If you are nearer to Kempton Park, Kobus ( Herrie here on the forum ) can probably give you a copy. I bought the Max Ellery service manual from "Kalahari.com" a few years back and used both to get the best info. I can also send the electronic manual via "transferbigfiles.com" but its about 170Mb for the GU model. I can send that to you now if you want.
