So, have any of you guys that own 2010 or later Patrols done the check to determine whether the front diff is open? The guy that posted on 4x4commie has not reacted to my request that he carries out a test as described...

Kak praat is lekker!
Had a 2011 GRX in the shop yesterday and guess what, no limited slip.
That sorts that out.

Agree with GMAN,
Most of the Trolls in South Africa (GQ's

) are SGL models, and they only had diff locks in the rear. As mine is a Aussie import, it is a ST model, which does not have the chrome grill and side mirrors, and has a more basic vent functions in the dash. As this is a lower spec than the SGL, it did have a LSD at the rear.
Mine does nto work, and have no idea for how long, but I have not needed it to date so have not bothered to fix it. Pretoria repair center claim its the same as the Patrol bakkie, and Navara LSD.
As for LSD in the front, no Patrol had it fitted as standard.

Had a 2012 today for some goodies and guess what..., no limited slip!
