Just to inform you all, Andre fortunately did not take that Patrol, that Patrol has a history of overheating, I know it rather well since Pieter van As owned for year and a bit and spend a lot of money to try and fix it but it was not to be he eventualy bought a 4.8.

My guess if you buy it sommer gooi in a new engine from the start

I saw the number plate, recognized the tyres and the bullbar, but the number plate was the saving angel, but fortunately it overheated on its way to Andre and he stopped the deal before I had actually informed him.

I recall you promised a few pictures of your cruiser.
Also, your avatar still shows the "old lady" flexing.
Do you want to keep it that way for sentimental reasons?

Alex, I will still try to get pics of the Cruiser flexing. These days my RBay Patrol mates go playing without me, so I miss out on photo opportunities. I'm not sure whether it is because I jumped ship and now drive a Toy...

Secondly my Cruiser is still a 4x2 due to breaking a Birfield. I have only just managed to gather all the parts to fix it; hopefully it will be a 4x4 before the end of the week.

About my avatar: I do miss Imvubu and so I suppose you could say that I keep the pic for reasons of sentimentality...

OK, my Land Cruiser is now a 4x4 again and hopefully the drivetrain is back to full strength (i.e. 80% Patrol strength ).

I had a nice little scare with the ABS light staying on with everything back together , but fortunately that turned out to be the ABS fuse .
