Welcome Bill from another relatively new member. THis is a fantastic place to find out all about your Patrol. The information is extensive and a simple search opens so may doors to anything you are looking for. Not have experienced a 3.0 diesel personally although a colleague of mine had one for about 6 years, all I can say is that take heed of the recommendations from the previous comments - they are definately valid - but my mates Patrol ran without so much as a stutter the whole time he had it. He always treated it well and serviced it on the button. Compared to my Landcruiser 100 (non turbo) it had a whole lot more go and was more fuel efficent. I always thought it was the better vehicle however longevity was the only worry.......
